Why a Proxmox partner rather than a generic BaaS vendor
Most Indian backup-as-a-service providers treat Proxmox as one checkbox among twenty. The failure modes below are Proxmox-specific and are not on their runbook.
- Garbage collection colliding with the backup window and blowing out job duration
- Prune policy that looks right in the UI but leaves you without the restore point an auditor asks for
- A local PBS datastore sitting on the same disks as the VMs it protects
- Dedup ratio assumptions that make the capacity plan wrong within two quarters

Questions people ask on this
We are 2x to 5x more expensive per terabyte than European hosted PBS. Why?
Because per-terabyte is the wrong comparison, and we would rather say that plainly than hope you do not check. Providers quoting EUR 8 to 21 per TB are selling storage with a PBS interface in front of it. Our fee covers the operations listed above, run by engineers who deploy Proxmox for a living, in your timezone, with copies held in India. If what you need is cheap bytes and you are happy to run GC, verify, prune, and restore drills yourself, buy the cheap bytes — that is a legitimate choice and we will not pretend otherwise.
Are you actually a Proxmox partner?

Do you support on-prem PBS as well as hosted?
Yes, and for data-residency-sensitive clients it is often the better answer. The PBS stays in your data centre or colo; we design the datastore layout, connect the clusters, set the jobs, and operate it under a retainer. The software and the discipline are identical; only the location of the disks changes.
What size estate does this suit?
It earns its keep from roughly twenty protected VMs upwards, and it earns it fastest where there is no dedicated storage or backup engineer on staff. Below that, self-run PBS plus a disciplined calendar reminder is usually the honest recommendation.
